Bangkok’s Cabaret shows are performed by Lady Boys. You will find them to be the most pretty girls around, yet they are not girls - they are boys. This is the Thai style cabaret. It is not a bad idea to see one of such shows for the sake of experience. Just be careful which ones you visit. It is better to avoid the smaller, backroom shows – they can be a disappointment. You may try the Ratchada Cabaret Show. Be prepared to loosen your pocket as the entry tickets for such shows are usually to the tune of a 1000 baht per person.

Note of caution: Do not get carried away by the beautiful lady boys who will greet you at the entrance and coax you to take a photo with them. The moment you do that, you will have to offer a tip as high as a 100 baht. Also, while watching the show never touch any lady boy. If you do, be prepared to shell out a decent tip.
