River City Mall

The River City Mall is Bangkok's first river side shopping complex. Founded in 1984, this shopping adventure is located on the Chao Phraya River next to the Royal Orchid Sheraton. At the River City Shopping Complex, you’ll find a veritable feast for your shopping experience. It is home to Bangkok’s arts and antiques center. It features 192 shops and presents an ideal place to look for hand-woven Thai silk and cotton, gems and jewellery, decorative objects, leather goods, antiques, handicrafts and other souvenirs. On the first Saturday of every month, starting at 1:30 PM, an auction of antiques and other art objects is held on the fourth floor at the Riverside Auction House.

You will also find river tours that cater to all your needs, be it a ride through Bangkok’s canals, a cruise to various attractions or a delightful dinner cruise. A free shuttle boat operates to and from hotels on the river, including the Oriental, Shangri-La, Royal Garden Riverside, Royal River and Menam Hotel. They are located beside Sheraton Royal Orchid Hotel.
