Wat Pho /Temple of the Reclining Buddha

This large and extensive temple neighbor the Grand Palace enclave and contain a gigantic gold plated Reclining Buddha about 46 meters long and 15 meters high, and with inlaid mother-of-pearl soles. In addition to begin the first centre of public education,Wat Pho is famous for Thai traditional massage. It is open to public daily from 8.00 AM - 5.00 PM.



Wat Pho Bang O

Wat Pho Bang O is a monastery constructed during the reign of King Rama III. The top of the bot was made of wood; mural painting inside the bot was made during the existence of the Nonthaburi school of painting.
